These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of SmartBizTools.io and any pages, content, forms, account features, emails, or services made available through it (collectively, the "Site"). In these Terms, "SmartBizTools," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Site. "You" and "your" refer to the person or organisation using the Site.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. Users below the age of legal majority in their location may use the Site only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The Site is designed for business and informational use and is not directed to young children.

Some features, including posting comments, community reviews, replies, and saving challenge progress across devices, require a WordPress user account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your password and account.

• You may not share access in a way that enables misuse or impersonation
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access
• We may require password changes, verification, or other reasonable security steps
• Accounts may not be created using automated methods or false identities

You must notify us promptly through the contact page if you believe your Account has been compromised. You may request Account closure, subject to retention required for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, legal compliance, or the continued display of Community Content that has already been incorporated into public discussions.

Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, SmartBizTools grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and use the Site for lawful personal or internal business research. You may:

• Browse tool profiles, reviews, comparisons, and blog posts for personal research
• Share links to content on our site on social media or in editorial contexts
• Quote reasonable, brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original page

No rights are granted except those expressly stated. Normal search-engine crawling that follows our robots directives is permitted; bulk scraping, model training, or automated extraction is not.

User Conduct

When using the site (including submitting tools, leaving comments, or contacting us), you agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate editorial ratings or review scores through deceptive means

Comments & Community Reviews

An account is required to publish comments, replies, or community reviews. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant SmartBizTools a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, edit for formatting or clarity, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the Site.

You represent that your submission is truthful, based on your own experience where presented as such, and does not violate confidentiality, privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights. Do not include sensitive personal data, private credentials, confidential business information, or content you are not authorised to publish.

We may moderate, reject, edit, label, move, or remove user content. Publication is not guaranteed. We may distinguish community opinions from editorial reviews and are not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

Review integrity

Community reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the relevant product. Tool Providers, employees, agencies, affiliates, and other materially connected reviewers must disclose that relationship. Incentivised reviews must disclose the incentive and may be labelled, excluded from aggregate scores, or removed. We prohibit review gating, purchased reviews, reciprocal-review schemes, duplicate accounts, and coordinated attempts to inflate or suppress ratings.

We may use technical and editorial checks to identify suspicious activity. We are not required to disclose fraud-detection methods or publish every moderation decision.

Editorial Content & Ratings

Tool profiles, reviews, comparisons, rankings, scores, buyer guidance, and articles are informational editorial content. They are not professional legal, financial, tax, security, medical, or investment advice and are not a substitute for your own testing and due diligence.

Products change frequently. Pricing, features, availability, limits, ownership, integrations, and policies may change after publication. Ratings express editorial judgment at the time of evaluation and may be revised or removed as evidence changes. Our Review Methodology explains how tools are selected, evaluated, scored, and updated.

Where hands-on testing is incomplete, we may rely on provider documentation, demonstrations, public product information, or other identified sources. We aim to distinguish verified observations from provider claims and may publish a notice that editorial testing details are still being prepared. Errors can be reported under our Corrections Policy.

Tool Listings & Submissions

By submitting a tool via our submission form, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the authority to submit the tool for listing consideration
• All information submitted is accurate and up to date
• The tool is a legitimate, active product available to business customers
• Submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party

You grant us permission to use submitted product names, logos, screenshots, descriptions, URLs, and other supplied materials to assess, create, maintain, and promote a listing or related editorial content. You confirm that you have the necessary authority to grant that permission.

A submission does not guarantee publication, a particular category, timing, traffic, rating, ranking, backlink attribute, or ongoing inclusion. We may verify claims, edit supplied copy, request evidence, decline a submission, correct a listing, or remove outdated or unsuitable products.

Paid Services & Payments

SmartBizTools may offer optional founder services such as Featured Launch, Growth Package, and Sponsored Review packages. Current scope and pricing are shown on the For AI Founders page or in a written proposal or checkout description.

• Prices, deliverables, estimated timing, revision scope, and payment terms are those displayed or agreed when you order
• Payment supports placement, production, or promotion; it never guarantees a favourable score, ranking, recommendation, or editorial conclusion
• Work may begin after payment and receipt of the information reasonably required to perform the service
• Refund requests are assessed according to the service stage, work already performed, payment-provider rules, and any specific terms shown at checkout
• You are responsible for taxes, fees, and accurate billing information applicable to your purchase

If a payment appears incorrect or a service cannot be delivered as agreed, contact us promptly through the contact page so we can investigate. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.

Orders, Delivery & Cancellation

An order is accepted when SmartBizTools confirms it in writing or begins the agreed work. Automated payment confirmation alone does not require us to accept an order containing an obvious pricing error, unlawful request, conflict of interest, unsupported claim, or product that does not meet our publication standards.

• Delivery estimates begin after cleared payment and receipt of complete, usable source materials.
• Delays caused by missing assets, inaccurate information, approval requests, or late responses may move the delivery date.
• Included revisions are limited to the scope stated at checkout or in the written proposal; new deliverables may require a new quote.
• You must review proofs and factual details promptly. Approval confirms that supplied names, URLs, pricing, claims, and branding are accurate.
• Promotional placement dates may change for operational, editorial, security, or availability reasons; we will provide a reasonable alternative where possible.

You may request cancellation through the contact page. Any refund depends on the agreed service terms, work already completed, non-recoverable costs, and applicable consumer law. Completed editorial or promotional work, published placements, and third-party processing charges may be non-refundable where legally permitted. SmartBizTools may cancel and refund an undelivered order if it cannot be completed responsibly.

Intellectual Property

All content on SmartBizTools.io — including editorial review text, comparison reports, ratings, blog posts, site design, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to SmartBizTools and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

AI tool names, logos, trademarks, and product descriptions referenced on our site are the property of their respective owners. We reference them for editorial, informational, and review purposes under fair use principles. No endorsement or affiliation is implied unless explicitly stated.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, neither party transfers ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property. Founder Services do not transfer ownership of SmartBizTools templates, layouts, scoring systems, research methods, or underlying site code. A Tool Provider remains responsible for the rights and accuracy of assets it supplies.

Copyright & Trademark Complaints

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right, send a detailed notice through our contact page. Include the protected work or mark, the exact URL of the disputed material, your contact information, the basis of your claim, and a statement that the information supplied is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing a properly supported complaint. Knowingly false or misleading notices may cause harm and may expose the sender to liability. Editorial criticism, comparison, nominative reference, and other legally permitted uses will not be removed solely because a brand dislikes the coverage.

Affiliate & Sponsored Disclosure

Third-Party Tools & Links

Challenge & Interactive Features

The 21-Day AI Challenge, saved progress, filters, comparisons, calculators, search tools, and other interactive features are provided for educational and organisational convenience. Completion, progress indicators, generated suggestions, and recommended workflows do not guarantee business outcomes.

Guest progress may be stored locally in your browser. Account-based progress may be stored with your user profile. You are responsible for maintaining any independent records you need; we do not guarantee permanent storage or uninterrupted synchronisation.

Privacy & Communications

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By submitting a form, creating an account, or contacting us, you consent to receiving transactional communications reasonably necessary to respond, secure your account, or deliver a requested service.

Marketing emails, where offered, are optional and may be unsubscribed from using the link provided. You must not use forms or account features to send another person's personal information without authority.

Availability & Accessibility

We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any part of the Site, including categories, listings, saved progress, account features, and free tools. Maintenance, hosting incidents, software updates, security events, third-party failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may interrupt availability.

We aim to make the Site usable by a broad audience and welcome accessibility feedback. We do not promise that every historical page, external document, third-party widget, or linked service will satisfy every accessibility standard. Contact us with the affected URL and a description of the barrier so we can investigate reasonable improvements.

Feedback & Suggestions

If you voluntarily send ideas, feature requests, corrections, workflow suggestions, or other feedback, you permit SmartBizTools to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of confidential material or intellectual property clearly identified and separately agreed as confidential before disclosure.

Suspension & Termination

• The uninterrupted availability of the website or any specific feature

Tool vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their own product descriptions. We review and verify information at time of publication and update where we are notified of changes, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of third-party information.

Limitation of Liability
